Who Knows
What lurks in the mind? What lurks behind my bed? What lurks below my sock drawer? Who knows. Who knows anything really? We all talk about things, think about them, have new ideas which are not really new. We start in one place, end up in another, go upstairs, go out the window, and pee on the floor. What is happening here? Am I just waiting for something to happen to me? Or am I waiting to have something happen to me to make me think that I am master of my fate? Who knows and that's all folks.

Rum and Coca Cola
My latest memory was full cans being tossed at midget people but midget people being tossed would have been better and more amusing but also safer. My earliest memory is a sunny Sunday afternoon with not too many people in attendance, back in the days when Captain and Coke was en vogue. Our friend is smoking a pack, but not at once and not in a hurry, remember he hates curry and this rhyme can't last. But I remember a friendly person sharing conversation with me about what I do not know, but it was relaxing enough to not be memorable.
And so our story began, one of adventure, misfortunes and good times, misery and glee, singing and prosperity awaits us all but for now let's pause for the fun and sadness we have shared as friends, 'tis a great thing to reminisce.

Level of Appreciation
The old apartment had quite a bit of character and roaches. It had the smell of a tire shop combined with febreze. Photos of Monaco and other exotic places were tucked away. Photos of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley were conspicuously displayed.
One night we all went to a dance across the river and the level of appreciation shown in the one hour journey was unexpected but also showed that this would be the beginning of a great friendship.

The Beginning
I came here under the pretenses of a holiday, but it turned into a vacation, and then one day found myself with a pick and shovel digging my own financial ditch.
